Inspire Youth Storytelling Program

Inspire Youth Storytelling is a research-based program developed from the study, “The Power of Storytelling: Designing Extracurricular Activities to Inspire Career Dreams in Elementary and Middle School Students in California’s Central Valley.” Through storytelling, we help youth ages 10 to 18 from underserved communities explore career paths. The following are the intended goals of the program:

Empower youth to believe in their potential through real-life stories.

Expose and expand students’ awareness of different careers and educational opportunities.

Encourage self-reflection and storytelling as ways for students to express their dreams and goals.

Bridge connections between professionals and youth through interactive storytelling sessions.
